Rude and nasty service manager

If I could give this review a 0 I would. I am writing this review while I am waiting on my car.

The customer service in the service department sucks. The guy literally left me standing at the chec in counter to gocheck in after telling me he was going to check on something but never came back which is th 2nd time this has happened to me. They all act like they don't want to help you or do their job.They tell everyone that comes in for an oil change the wait is gong to take 4 to 5 hours no matter how early you get there and it doesn't take that long. I come here because this is the closest service location for me.

You should at least offer a free wash and vacuum for your customers coming in for service and hire better people for customer service.

After oil change review:

My oil change was completed in an hour and after I pulled out I noticed that I didn't get an oil change sticker so I turned around and went back. The gentleman named Andrew that had checked me out advised me that they don't do stickers anymore because the car tells you when the oil change is due. I thank him and walked out. As I was walking to my car he came back out with the manager Tammy Baker and called my name.

Tammy proceeded to say I want to talk to you about this horrible review you left. She was very rude and very nasty. She tried to tell me the service guy Mack that left me at the counter came back to talk to me in the waiting area which was a lie he spoke to me while I was checking out and asked did Andrew get me taken care of. Then she said 3 people tried to help me.

I told her they asked and I told them Mack went to check on something and he said he would be right back but never did. Another customer walked in and said I don't want to jump you in line. I told her I was waiting on the guy to come back but he hasn't yet and they stop doing oil changes at 3:30 and I had been there since 3:10 so I asked Andrew if he could see where Mack went but Andrew helped me instead. Tammy was very rude and nasty and went on to tell me that we don't tell people that come at 8am there will be a 4 to 5 hour wait and I advised her that I have been up there early when they open and was to that.

She proceeded to tell me maybe you should take you car somewhere else. I said you work in customer service and this is how you treat and talk to your customers. Not once did she apologize about Mack or ask me what she could do to fix the problem. I wasn't treated like a customer I was treated like a criminal on trial.

I asked her for her name and she told me it's the same name that's been on her business card for 12 years and walked of. I asked again and she turned around and said Tammy Baker you have a blessed day.

I can't believe the way I was talked to by this lady. She was very unprofessional.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. Helped in resolving my issue by placing me in another vehicle

I purchased a 2023 N line Kona on May 6th, 2023 with Rick Case Hyuandai Weston. On January 9th, 2024, I happen to get to DMV and entered my VIN number when to my surprise shows my vehicle has a "crash report".

I immediately called the reporting agency since I figured it was a mistake. Well it wasn't my vehicle was in a minor accident on April 22nd, 2023. Exactly 2 weeks before I purchased my vehicle. I went in person yesterday and was told that technically they don't have to disclose this information since it was minor damage and it was repaired.

I am shocked to think that vehicle history fraud was not considered. Yesterday they tried to get me into a brand new vehicle and mine taken in as a trade in, which shocked me since I was the victim here. Today I was called by a manager Damian and given a great offer which included adding an additional 12 months to my current contract and the payments that have been made have never even been mentioned.

So now I owe money on a vehicle that has a "crash report" not done by me and prior to purchase. I will be searching for legal representation since I see that I am not being seen as a victim but just as a another customer.

I went there with an estimate of my car damage and there service manager, Colin Lord refused to talk to me and my brother.

Rick Case Hyundai did the work on my car without my verbal or written permission. II believe this is a violation of State laws. They have a culture of dishonesty and arrogance all the way to the top!

Brought my car for maintenance yesterday at Rick Case Hyundai and afterwards I saw pieces of the car wash material sticking out of the side of my car along with scratches and a dent.

They buffed it out but the scratches and dent are still there. The general managers says there is nothing else they can do.

This dealership contacts me multi times from different people after I asked to be taken off their call list. I have advised 4 people I no longer wanted to be contacted and left a voice message to the General Manager how it is disturbing me how I am being called after I requested to not be.

Called the service dept. this AM.

I have no headlights. They told me I had to wait over 3 weeks for an appointment. I asked what if I needed an oil change.

Oh yeah, they said they could do that soon. Oil change over head lights???

Good evening,

I am very upset because today we went to look for the car that we had bought and they are wanting to give me a different and smaller version than the one we had bought.

The seller never disclosed us that the version he was going to give us was less than the one he had shown us, and on several occasions he assured us that it was the SAME CAR in another color.

Now I am calling Rick Case and the manager does not want to attend to me because he says he is very busy. They have time to sell and deceive customers and they do not have time to assist us at the time of claiming.

I am going to dedicate myself to telling this experience in all the places and places that I can, I feel cheated.

I own a 2015 Genesis 3.8 which is now at 44,500 miles. I recently decided to have my car serviced by an independent and highly qualified auto technician business.

They proved to me via pictures and explanations that my oil had never been changed before, despite having proof of such service performed multiple times by Rick Case on Rt 441. The pictures demonstrate a thick black sludge, that I was told was thicker and darker than should ordinarily be. There is evidence that the oil plug seal had never been thoroughly broken as the red seal is still evident. And worst of all is the condition of the oil filter which I can only describe as disgusting.

I have been charged multiple times (like every 4,000 miles) for oil changes as is represented on my receipts.

Moreover, I think of the damage this would have brought upon my car. This is shameful.

Very unhappy

I purchased my car there and had it for 15 years. My transmission went bad and my son took it to be replaced.

When it was replaced the car was driven about 2 weeks, and then it messed up again, we found out he put in a bad transmission. I waited almost 3 weeks to get the car. It has been 2 weeks and now the transmission fluid is leaking. What kind of dam mechanics do you have there.

I will never come there to get repairs again and will never recommend anyone else to do so. You need to be sure you have a mechanic there who knows what their doing.

I made an appointment for service. Tried to make it online.

No good. Called. Got some lady on the phone who didn't really know what was gong on. Made appointment.

Got email confirm. The day of service, they had no record of me. Nothing. Top it off they were rude as if I was trying to get in without an appointment.

In rude fashion they said they'd take the car, but didn't know when they'd get to it. I did not feel good about Rick Case.

(Which is where I bought the car in the first place) My advice to you. Avoid Rick Case at all costs.

Misinformed twice!!

First off, when I bought my car the salesperson just kept repeating himself about this survey we will receive and to give him 5 stars for everything because that's how they get paid. Secondly, he never gave us information on what was included in our purchase such as pre-paid maintenance.

So our car hit its first 5K miles so my husband sets up an appt for the oil and tire rotation...never did the gentlemen on the phone mention anything about it being too early to come in, although he did ask for the number associated with the car, which if he did his job he can view what was included for maintenance and when is the proper time to bring in the car. So the first appt, I went there and wasted my time and was told its too early and to come back when the car was at 10K. So, now we waited and made another appt and asked specifics with the person on the phone who made the appt if it was now time to bring the car in, his response was yes if its at 10K miles. Get there, and was told I am too late and I shouldve came back when the car was at 7500K miles.

At this point, I was pissed with lack of knowledge and common sense of these people!!!

I again wasted my time going there all to be told they cant do it after two people told me to bring it in at 10K. This place is a JOKE you are better off paying for your services at TriesPlus or anywhere else but this dealership service department.
